Iceland Airwaves will be held for the 18th time this year. From November 1 to November 5 many places of Reykjavik will be venues for artists from all over the world. 

This year over 210 bands or artists are in line up. Among venues are Hard Rock Cafe, Reykjavik Art Museum, Bío Paradís, Þjóðleikhúsið, Iðnó, Húrra and others.

For the first time the festival will expand to the North of Iceland and will be in Akureyri for 2 days: the 2nd and the 3rd of November with around 25 artists performing in the capital of the North.

Around 7.500 people are expected to attend the festival.
