Morning departure: The day starts with a departure from Reykjavík, heading along Iceland’s scenic South Coast past lava fields, farmland, and coastal views.
South Coast waterfalls: Along the way, you stop at Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss, two of Iceland’s most famous waterfalls, where glacial rivers plunge dramatically over cliffs shaped by volcanic forces.
ATV base camp & preparation: Near Mýrdalsjökull, you arrive at the ATV base camp, gear up, and receive a safety briefing before heading out on powerful quad bikes.
Black beach ATV ride: Ride across vast black sand plains formed by volcanic eruptions and glacial floods, with the Atlantic Ocean stretching along the shoreline.
DC-3 plane wreck: A highlight of the adventure is a visit to the famous DC-3 airplane wreck on Sólheimasandur, set against endless black sand and dramatic skies.
