Reynisfjara on a list of best beaches in the world

The Canadian travel company, Flight Network, recently published the list of The World's 50 Best Beaches. According to the list Reynisfjara is among the 50 best beaches in the world, listed number 20.

Unlike most beaches on the list Reynisfjara is not the typical sunbathing beach but the beach is a black pebble beach and the average annual temperature there is 11°C. The list describes the beach as ,,an extremely exquisite and unique beach destination in Iceland adorned with black sand made from lava’’.

Reynisfjara is located on the south coast of Iceland where you can find some of the best known attractions in Iceland, including Reynisdrangar cliffs, Dyrhólaey, Eyjafjallajokull volcano, Skógarfoss waterfall and many more.
