Description
Departing directly from central Akureyri, the RIB quickly reaches the wildlife areas of Iceland’s longest fjord. Humpback whales are the stars of many sailings, while dolphins, porpoises, minke whales and seabirds may also join the scene.
The small boat creates a thrilling low perspective and keeps every guest near the guide. Towering mountains, coastal farms and quiet fishing communities turn the search itself into a beautiful journey through Eyjafjörður.
Warm flotation overalls, gloves, goggles and life vests are provided. Participants must be at least 10 years old, at least 145 cm tall and comfortable with an active open-water ride.
