Golden Circle and Silfra in one day. This full-day adventure combines Iceland’s famous Golden Circle sightseeing route with snorkeling in the crystal-clear water of Silfra fissure. With Reykjavík pickup included, it is an easy way to experience classic Icelandic nature and one of the country’s most unusual underwater experiences in the same day.
Snorkeling in Silfra. Silfra is located in Þingvellir National Park, where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet. Wearing a warm dry suit, you float through clear blue water, lava formations and dramatic underwater scenery with excellent visibility.
Golden Circle highlights. The tour also visits some of Iceland’s best-known natural landmarks, including Þingvellir National Park, the Geysir geothermal area, Gullfoss waterfall and Kerið crater. Along the route, you will see volcanic landscapes, geothermal activity, waterfalls and wide-open countryside.

- Participants must be comfortable in water and able to swim.
- Participants must be able to understand and communicate in English during the snorkeling part of the tour.
- All participants must read and sign the medical statement form in the Snorkeling Handbook before the tour.
- If you have a medical condition, doctor approval may be required before participation.
- This tour is not suitable for pregnant travellers due to the small risk of cold water entering the suit.
- Dry suit gear is limited to standard sizes. Participants must meet the required size guidelines, generally around 45–120 kg and 150–200 cm.
- Snorkeling masks cannot be worn over regular glasses. Use contact lenses or arrange a prescription mask if available.
- Food is not included, apart from cookies and hot chocolate after snorkeling.
- Weather, road conditions and visibility can affect the order of stops and the overall experience.
