Description
Riding and Relaxation is a full-day countryside experience that combines scenic horse riding with time to unwind in geothermal waters. The day begins with a ride in the surroundings of the Eldhestar farm, where you spend approximately 2.5–3 hours riding through lava fields and open meadows in the peaceful south Iceland landscape.
After the ride, a light lunch is served at the comfortable Hotel Eldhestar. The tour then continues to the swimming pool in Hveragerði, where guests can relax in the warm geothermal water of the hot pools or enjoy time in the steam sauna.
The programme ends back at the farm with coffee or tea and home-baked cake. This tour is suitable for all levels of riding experience. During booking, guests are asked about their riding background so suitable horses can be selected for everyone. Riders of different experience levels ride together, and whenever possible, the smooth tölt of the Icelandic horse is enjoyed. For safety reasons, galloping is not part of this tour.

What do I need to bring
- Sturdy shoes such as sneakers or hiking boots
- Comfortable pants (riding pants are not required)
