Description

Pricing: This is a private tour with one price per group (up to 8 passengers), not per person.

Take a true winter Super Jeep adventure across the snow-covered highlands of East Iceland. This full-day journey is built for travelers who want remote scenery, off-road driving and the feeling of being deep in Iceland’s wild interior, far from the crowds.

Ride toward the mountains
We begin with a drive inland as the landscape turns from valleys into open, snowy highlands. With a slow-travel pace and plenty of photo moments, you’ll experience Icelandic winter nature at its most dramatic.

Bjarnahýði mountain hut
On the way toward Þrándarjökull glacier, we stop at Bjarnahýði mountain hut, a classic pit stop for local mountain travelers and a great place to pause, take photos and enjoy the atmosphere of the highlands.

Tröllakrókar canyon landscapes
Next, we continue to Tröllakrókar, a spectacular rock formation set in a vast canyon. The scale of the scenery here is unforgettable and gives you a powerful sense of how small the human world feels in Iceland’s winter wilderness.

Off-road winter driving experience
A large part of the day is spent traveling off-road across snowy terrain in a well-equipped 4×4 Super Jeep. Conditions vary, so the final route and timing can change based on weather and safety.
