Delta Air Lines flying to Iceland from New York City and Minneapolis in 2020.  Delta began flying to Iceland from New York during the summer 2011 and it was the first time an American airlines offered scheduled trips to Iceland.

The flight will now operate for seven months with daily flights, with service starting five times weekly in April and moving to daily in May. 

The Reykjavik nonstop will help the ongoing inbound tourism to Iceland and contributing to the local economy through tourism revenues. Iceland has been very popular among U.S. travelers for the past years.

Delta is one of 29 airlines flying to Iceland this year.
