Icelandair Begins Direct Flights to Gdańsk

Icelandair's first direct service between Keflavík and Gdańsk took off on 18 September 2026. The new route is the airline's first to Poland and is planned to operate three to four times a week through the winter season, until March 2027.

A new connection between Iceland and Poland

The flight links Keflavík International Airport with Gdańsk in northern Poland without a change of planes. It makes visits with family and friends easier for the Polish community in Iceland, while offering Icelandic travellers another option for a city break. Passengers from Gdańsk can also connect through Keflavík to destinations in North America.

For visitors travelling the other way, the new service opens a straightforward route to Iceland at a memorable time of year. Autumn and winter bring dark skies for northern lights watching, as well as opportunities to explore Reykjavík, geothermal pools, waterfalls and the South Coast. Weather and daylight change quickly in these months, so it is worth keeping an itinerary flexible.
