Description
Step onto Breiðamerkurjökull from Jökulsárlón for a three-hour summer glacier adventure combining Super Jeep access, supplied technical equipment and a guided hike across living ice.
The route can reveal moulins, crevasses, ice canyons and flowing meltwater, with every departure shaped by the glacier’s current surface and the guide’s safety assessment.
No previous glacier experience is required, although reasonable fitness is needed for uneven ice. This May–September experience focuses on open-air summer formations; winter natural ice-cave tours are separate products.
