It is an immersive flying-theatre experience. You sit in chairlift-style seats in front of a huge curved screen while the seats move gently and effects such as wind, mist and scents help create the sensation of flying across Iceland.
Allow about 35 minutes in total. That includes the pre-show experiences, the flight briefing and approximately 8.5 minutes on the moving flight ride itself.
The film journeys above some of Iceland’s most dramatic landscapes, including glaciers, fjords, volcanoes, black-sand beaches and remote highlands. It is a powerful way to see the country’s scale without leaving Reykjavík.
Yes, provided children meet the minimum height requirement of 100 cm (40 inches). Children aged 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult or guardian aged 14 or older.
The ride is designed to be gently thrilling, but it includes elevation, moving seats, wind, mist, scents and visual effects. Guests who are particularly sensitive to motion or heights should consider their comfort; people with relevant medical conditions should follow the operator’s guidance before riding.
Please arrive around 15 minutes before your booked time at Fiskislóð 43 in the Grandi area. This gives you time to check in and join the pre-show before the flight begins.
