At Jökulsárlón, ancient icebergs drift across the lagoon beneath Vatnajökull before fragments of ice glitter like giant diamonds on the nearby black shore. The contrast of crystal ice, dark sand and vast glacier scenery creates one of Iceland’s most breathtaking sights.
