Arrive at Skjól, between Geysir and Gullfoss, by the confirmed check-in time. This is an on-location experience, so make your own way to the meeting point before joining the glacier-bound vehicle.

Leave the main road behind
Board the specialist mountain vehicle for the journey towards Langjökull. The transfer itself is part of the adventure, carrying you from the Golden Circle landscape towards the glacier base.

At base camp, put on the supplied snowmobile suit, gloves, goggles, balaclava and helmet. Your guide explains how the snowmobiles work, reviews the route and makes sure every guest is comfortable before departure.
