Ice Cave only the Brave

On this tour you will enjoy a glacier walk and a visit to an impressive ice cave. You will explore a glacier near Skaftafell National Park, and we will reach the cave off the beaten track, quite an adventure that is challenging, but worth it.

Reaching the cave can take us up to 2 hours, we will go through a labyrinth of high glacial ridges and deep crevasses that is not easy, but that will make this experience an unforgettable challenge and adventure, and you will enjoy a landscape out of this world.

The tour begins at our Skaftafell base camp, next to the visitor center, where you will meet your expert glacier guide and equip you with all the necessary gear to explore on the ice. Afterwards we headed to the glacier in our glacier bus.

Please note that ice caves are a natural phenomenon and conditions can change depending on the weather. Your safety is our first priority, so sometimes our tours can be canceled on short notice due to weather conditions or security concerns. If this happens, we will always do our best to offer you an alternative tour, weather permitting.
