Description
The RIB’s speed creates more time in the wildlife areas of Faxaflói Bay, while the open boat keeps every guest close to the water and the guide’s search for whales, dolphins, porpoises and seabirds.
In summer, the route may visit a puffin island where the colourful birds gather during the nesting season. Views back towards Reykjavík and the surrounding mountains make the ride as scenic as it is exciting.
Museum admission adds 23 life-size whale models, immersive sound and fascinating interpretation to the day. Participants must be at least 10 years old and meet the booking requirements for this active open-water experience.
