The morning begins at a buggy base near Reykjavik, where protective equipment and a clear introduction prepare you for an exhilarating one-hour safari around Lake Hafravatn and up the slopes of Hafrafell.
After broad summit views and varied volcanic tracks, return to Reykjavík’s Old Harbour for time to enjoy lunch. A three-hour cruise then carries you into Faxaflói Bay in search of whales, dolphins, porpoises and seabirds.
